Our History

The Cobb Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. (CSF) was formed in mid-2021 by volunteers and community leaders. It is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for agency personnel and the citizens of Cobb County via community engagement, and charitable collaboration within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.

Recognizing that effective law enforcement is the cornerstone of a free and safe society, the Cobb Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. is committed to a vision that encompasses quality, integrity and accountability. The business community and philanthropic leaders serving on the Foundation’s Board of Directors will lead efforts in providing support and collaborating with other organizations to assist the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.

To serve as an advocate for the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and its community engagement efforts by supporting education, health, social service, safety, and other charitable causes.

Provide sustained support through private donations, partnerships, and public events to improve the quality of life for agency personnel, underserved communities, and socially disadvantaged citizens.

GOALs

Our goals are aligned with our mission and vision, to improve the quality of life for the Cobb County communities through sustained support and initiatives that are reinforced by community partners, sponsors, donors and volunteers. Provide resources for the citizens, agency personnel and the Cobb communities when deemed appropriate by the elected Board of Directors. And last but not least, our vision is to establish a presence with a signature community program for youth and young adults.
